http://www.mikegravel.us/node/3890

$4 national sales tax on each kilogram of tobacco. $4 national sales tax on each liter of alcohol. Tax pollution especially air pollution. 25% national sales tax on foods & drinks that erroneously cause people to be obese. Progressive sales tax on violent entertainment - I mean how much violence do you need when there are characters in TV shows, i.e., Dragonball Z, that want to use their life force to blow up planets including Earth. 10% sales tax on all future nuclear weapons (if any are made) to help fund the Cabinet Department of Peace.

I read Mike's Political Rupture with AIPAC this morning, and was happy to read it. Mike has identified 2 issues now that he will focus on... 9/11 and what really happened, and now the AIPAC.

I don't know if Mike is going to run or not in 2012. He certainly owes all of us nothing, he has paid his dues already. I think all the res of us should run, should elaborate the list of issues that are important to us, should debate and winnow our list items and then support a common list and a candidate to run on those issues.

http://www.mikegravel.us/node/3888

If Gravel decided to run in 2012 this time around he needs to play to one of his greatest assists that he pretty much left to the wind in his attempts in 2008, and that star power to influance. We saw some here and there from videos but what Gravel really needs is a running mate who possesses the same mentality, openmindedness, brillance, popularity, and goals.

http://www.mikegravel.us/node/3885

As much I repect Mike for his past deeds and convictions on his position, I disagree with his comments about Sarah Palin's comments being responsible for the Loughner shooting's in Tucson AZ. I am no fan of Sarah Palin, but the shootings in Tucson were not motivated by any political rhethoric as it has come out. Loughner did not listen to talk radio, but he was a pot smoker, was on psychotropic drugs, was into the occult, and had been an athetist. Ultimontly he is the one responsible for his actions.

http://www.mikegravel.us/node/3883

I was glad to see Mike's comments on Sarah Palin, the Tea Party, and political assassinations. Assassinations of all sorts are becoming the specialty of our United States.

I once had a boss at a state department of health who double-dipped… doubling as a ‘management consultant’, delivering Stephen Covey management propaganda to his captive employees. Stephen Covey made his fortune repackaging tautology… ‘Put first things first’…

One of his many ‘insights’ was, I quote from memory, ‘organizations are optimized to get the results they do get’.

Thanks for the link to the PressTV interview. It's good to hear one sane voice at least. Things are not looking good at all, pon any front that I can see. There are solutions available :

Happy Thanksgiving to you, too, Mike. We're all still living so I am thankful. We haven't had much success in changing things, but we'll keep on trying. Counterpunch details a Thanksgiving of the drones. Ah... what we have become.
