I certainly haven't heard ...

I certainly haven't heard anything. I took a look at the news on the issue and found that the US is apparently threatening a blockade of North Korea which is  an act of war, and that the North Koreans understandably said they won't put up with that.

Clinton Warns North Korea for ‘Belligerent’ Behavior in Region

' “What they are saying is that they will take military action if there is any action taken on behalf of the program such as boarding their ships, stopping and searching and so on,” said Han Sung Joo, a former South Korean foreign minister.

Pyongyang revokes 1953 armistice with South Korea

' NORTH Korea says it is no longer bound by the armistice that ended the Korean War in 1953 and it will attack any force attempting to halt or inspect its ships.

' The North was responding... to South Korea's decision to join the Proliferation Security Initiative, calling it a declaration of war. '

North Korea withdraws from 1953 armistice and escalates nuclear tensions

' North Korea has declared itself no longer bound by the armistice that ended the Korean war more than half a century ago, and threatened to attack South Korea if it took part in US-led checks on vessels suspected of carrying weapons of mass destruction.'

The US can always be relied upon to make a bad situation worse. I have no idea what effect the latest US escalation in the area will have on Mike's efforts.

It should be clear to everyone on earth now that the only to protect yourself from the US is to get your own nuclear weapons. What a revolting development this is.
