So… is the United States of America optimized to assassinate politicians?

I was glad to see Mike's comments on Sarah Palin, the Tea Party, and political assassinations. Assassinations of all sorts are becoming the specialty of our United States.

I once had a boss at a state department of health who double-dipped… doubling as a ‘management consultant’, delivering Stephen Covey management propaganda to his captive employees. Stephen Covey made his fortune repackaging tautology… ‘Put first things first’…

One of his many ‘insights’ was, I quote from memory, ‘organizations are optimized to get the results they do get’.

So… is the United States of America optimized to assassinate politicians?

* The political duopoly in power has openly stopped representing the interests of people in America and taken up representing the interests of corporations instead… and by its very nature as a monopolistic political duopoly eliminated any alternative to itself.

* Weapons manufacturers have subsidized a ‘right to bear arms movement’, based very loosely on our second amendment, that sees to it that the ‘right’ of psychopaths to own and discharge automatic weapons is not infringed.

* The MSM has hit upon a 24/7 harangue by the right-wing, using necessarily ever-increasing exhortations to violence, as a means of boosting attendance to its network ‘news’ offerings.

Since WW II the United States has been the champion of violence outside its borders as the ‘solution’ to its ‘problems’. In fact the United States has been continuously at war somewhere on earth since 1945, to the great delight of its Wehrmacht, and profit of its weapons and arms manufacturers.

The US is now putting unemployed Americans to work behind video consoles, assassinating villagers in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Yemen and elsewhere by remote control in order to ‘solve’ its ‘problems’ in those areas. The robot assassination vehicle promises to be a huge ‘success’ for the American Wehrmacht, and profit center for its arms merchants.

Problem solving for America is a violent affair.

This might be viewed as just ‘bringing the war back home’… for ‘fun’ and profit.

If the whole monstrous, increasingly preposterous scheme can somehow be kept aloft in defiance of gravity, both moral and financial.

I'm happy to hear that Mike Gravel is now a Californian! Very nice video from Berkeley. Always good to hear from Mike. Good to hear Mike address the downward spiral in the US and Israel. Another Californian has made a very good video on the initiative undertaken by DAM... Dialogue Against Militarism.

There is a very good website on the circumstances surrounding 9/11 : Countdown July-September 10, 2001. The entire website, The Road to 9/11, is very good.

On initiative, referendum, and recall... I maintain that the difficulty is in legislation by plurality... the minority legislating for the majority that is the problem. If you are going to ask people to trust the direct democracy... you cannot leave out the democracy.
