A revolution is brewing

Here is footage of various town hall meetings across the country protesting the so called Obamacare. People for all sides are waking up to the fraud of the two party system and that the representatives dont represent them. Now is the time to really start pushing for NI4D here in the US. Supporters look at doing community radio shows, internet radio, or access tv. I have posted this call for exposure before and I hope this time it gets more response. Something is definately brewing and now is the time to act. Enjoy the clips

This is proof of what

This is not proof of anything. Proof of paid so called health care reform supporters is at  jobsthatmatter.org . Proof of Ken Gladney's assault is out on YouTube. Proof of Rep Shelia Jackson Lee's fake physican, you can do a search engine and some of the articles that come up including one from the Lone Star Republic. Proof of Union and Acorn thugery also is available on Youtube. Proof of Reps lying about the myths of 3200 is also available on Youtube.

Your link is something you wrote about Mike Gravel's health care proposal. Its not proof of your claim of stagged protesters. It also doesnt anwer my questions of what are your solutions and what it is you stand for. Its does keep showing everyone how much of a leftist political hack you are and you how arogant you are as well.

Again jfl or should I call you by your real handle, alvagold! The lies are unraveling right before your very eyes.

Those who stand for nothing will fall for anything.

Thanks for writing

Who's behind the attacks on a health care overhaul?

The opposition groups' names sound catchy and populist: Patients First. Patients United. Americans for Prosperity. Conservatives for Patients' Rights. FreedomWorks. 60 Plus. Club for Growth.

Here's who's behind them:

Conservatives for Patients' Rights is led by health care entrepreneur Rick Scott, the co-founder of Solantic urgent care walk-in centers... Scott left his job as CEO of the Columbia/HCA hospitals during a federal Medicare fraud probe in 1997 that led to a historic $1.7 billion settlement. He wasn't prosecuted and got a golden parachute.

Scott said he wasn't concerned that the Democrats' proposed revisions would undercut his business: "It's irrelevant to us."

FreedomWorks, which has been advocating against the overhaul but has not launched TV ads, is chaired by Dick Armey, the former Republican majority leader of the House of Representatives from Texas.

But also noteworthy are the group's other backers and board members. They include billionaire flat-tax proponent and former GOP presidential candidate Steve Forbes; Richard J. Stephenson, who founded Cancer Treatment Centers of America, which offers alternative as well as standard therapies, sometimes not covered by insurance; and Frank M. Sands, Sr., chief executive officer of an investment management firm whose offerings include a Healthcare Leaders portfolio.

Patients First and Patients United are creations of a larger group called Americans for Prosperity. AFP's Web site describes a grassroots organization with more than 700,000 members that advocates "for public policies that champion the principles of entrepreneurship and fiscal and regulatory restraint."

It was started by billionaire David Koch, of the Koch Industries oil family... The foundation's board includes Art Pope, a former North Carolina legislator also involved in conservative causes, whose family owns hundreds of discount stores.

Tim Phillips, AFP's president, is a former Republican congressional staffer who helped former Christian Coalition executive director Ralph Reed start up the consulting firm Century Strategies in the 1990s. Clients paid the firm to build Christian grassroots support for various business causes. That included work for since-convicted lobbyist Jack Abramoff.

The group, along with FreedomWorks, was involved in promoting the anti-tax "tea parties" earlier this year. AFP also is organizing a campaign "exposing the ballooning costs of global warming hysteria."

Two other grassroots groups have financed ads targeting peoples' fears that more government involvement would hurt seniors and hasten end-of-life decisions.

One of them, Club for Growth, which advocates lower taxes, is led by president Chris Chocola, a former Republican congressman from Indiana who lost his re-election bid in 2006. Club for Growth this week announced a $1.2 million ad campaign against a health care overhaul, to run in North Dakota, Colorado, Arkansas and Nevada.

The other, 60 Plus Association, is a conservative senior advocacy group that wants to abolish the estate tax. Singer Pat Boone is the group's national spokesman. Chairman Jim Martin started the group in 1992 with fund-raising help from conservative direct mail guru Richard Viguerie. It spent $1.5 million on TV ads opposing a healthcare overhaul in the last week.

Martin declined to identify his major donors.

The True Story of Fox's Hero, Kenneth Gladney

“I was one of 6 or 7 SEIU members and staff who went to the meeting on aging that Rep. Russ Carnahan (D. St. Louis) held,” McCowan told me. “When the forum started, the Tea Party people started yelling that they wanted to talk about Obama’s health care proposal. So we told them to stop shouting because we could all ask questions after the speakers.”

“Then the Carnahan folks then said that you could only ask a question if you had written it on one of their forms. But they hadn’t given any of the forms to either Tea Party or SEIU. So both groups left the meeting in a bad mood.”

Walking outside, McCowan saw Gladney selling buttons of Obama in blackface and Obama smoking weed. Feeling insulted, and as as he pointed to one of the buttons. McCowan asked why a black man would be hawking material denigrating the first black president.

“When I pointed at the button, Gladney slapped my hand. So I told him not to hit me and pointed at it again and repeated my question. He smacked my hand even harder, hit me several times and pushed me down.

“As I went down, I grabbed him by reflex to break my fall. I hit my shoulder and something popped. I lost consciousness for a moment but soon realized that Gladney continued to hit me.

“Another SEIU guy, Perry Molens, came over and told Gladney, ‘He’s a minister and won’t fight back. He can’t see out of one eye. Stop hitting him!’ When Gladney kept on, Perry tried to get him off of me and threw a punch in the process.

“I don’t know why Gladney had an attorney on hand, but his attorney came over yelling ‘You two attacked him!’ Gladney went off to find cops and told them to arrest us. The cops wouldn’t listen to us and did what the Tea Party people told them to do. They arrested me, Perry, a newspaper reporter and three supporters of health care reform.”

**************************************************************************************

The idea that Counterpuch "support Isreal's tyranical govt." is ludicrous. If you actually read any of the things you talk about you'd discover that you're projecting a reality that exists only in your head onto the outside world.

Your ad hominem attacks are an affront not to political correctness but to ordinary civility. No problem. The right wing is full to the brim with street fighters who constantly struggle to keep the facts from interfering with their attacks on those they have chosen to identify as "the enemy".

As far as whining goes, you're the one who keeps coming back and calling me names and moaning about two-facedness and phonies.

I have nothing but respect for Mike Gravel. I'd never have heard of or thought of an NI4d if he hadn't thought of it and publicized it. We differ in the means of its implementation. That's all. If you read anything you'd know that.

This is the last round I'm going to go with you, parisd. Thanks for writing.

Nice try but this isnt going to work

First off, the more you keep posting the more of a leftist political hack you out yourself to be. First you need to go through and read HR 3200 to see what many are complaining about it. Second, it is the insurance industry who is sponsoring this bill and your phony democratic town hall meetings. Where do you think that former democratic Senate leader Tom Daschle spent the last few years. He was working as a lobbyist for United Health Care. His book he published last year calling for so called health reform, much of this garbage that is being proposed in HR 3200 came from his book.

Third, this so called SEIU member who is telling this fairy tell to make their actions sound justifiabe, his problem is that one the video out on YouTube shows a completely different story than this lying union thug is spinning and two the union members were the ones arrested and charged with assault and battery. Ken was the one assaulted as the video clearly shows plus at least two of the bystanders yelling at Ken's assailant about his attack. Ken's attorney was at the event. And by the way, one of the union thugs refered to Ken as a "nigger". I guess your union member left that part out of the story. So this spinning isnt going work.

Fourth you try going on Counterpunch and critize the govt of Isreal and their tyranical policies and see if you dont get kick off of the site. Here again all you have to do is read HR 3200, and it becomes evident, but you refuse to do that.

Here again, I am calling for solutions and action. All you want to do is whine and moan and talk about left/right and republican verses democrat all day long. Plus I have a feeling I know who this really is anyway. The same person that tried to push your so called fake version of NI4D. The same person who believes whatever Mike Malloy says is gospel.  Also you all the same person that never supported Mike Gravel in the first place. The same smart alecky two faced so called progressive who has been lecturing people as to why NI4D is bad and why your so called proposal is so much better.

You have constantly tried to knock down any effort to promote NI4D, you dont have any solutions of you own for taking any kind of action at all. Plus I think this is some kind of sick jealousy factor with you. I have attacked you actions and you cant face the truth about yourself. I have asked you what do you stand for and what are your solutions, for which I have yet to receive any response from you.

You are a leftist hack who has drank the Obama koolaid and is spouting the rhetoric and probably calling anyone a racist who opposes any of Obama's policies. You are here to divide, not unite.

I have suggested people do community or blogtalk radio shows promoting NI4D or even blogs about it. What have you done?

Jfl, your game is over buddy, the more you post on here, the more I will out you for the hack you are.

Those who stand for nothing with fall for anything. Also united we stand, together we fall.

Times have changed. We are going to empower the American people. Let’s work together. I am tough. I’m not afraid. None of this politics as usual. -- Mike Gravel

Ok... I'm a bad, bad man

Ok... I'm a bad, bad man...

Originally there was a posting touting the disruption of Congressional District meetings as evidence of a revolution. Since, in my opinion, those disruptions were undertaken by groups financially connected to corporate interests I questioned the revolutionary aspect of those disruptions, and pointed out that such disruptions have been undertaken many times in the past run by people with anything but the people's interest in mind. The National Socialist Party in Germany used similar "popular" tactics during its rise to power, for instance.

When questioned I offered you two articles, one from McClatchy - an MSM outlet, and one from Counterpunch - non-MSM, that detailed the interests behind those "revolutionary" undertakings.

Your response has been 100% ad hominem. Chill out. Read the articles I referred you to. Tell me where they are mistaken, if you feel that they are.

Or continue your ad hominem attack. Or get bored and go somewhere else. As you wish.

Proof

First off even so called MSM has backed off the claims that the protests were stagged especially ABC news who couldn't find proof of bussed in lobbyist.

http://www.infowars.com/abc-news-no-evidence-of-lobbyists-during-obamacare-protest/

The talking points have gone from bussed in lobbyist to republican operatives to people dont understand what they are reading in the bills.  If you want to talk about fake, lets talk about Rep Sheila Jackson Lee and her fake town hall meeting with a staffer in the audience poseing as a doctor. The person behind this fake was one of the Obama campaign staffers and this fake worked for that person. Search engine Shelia Jackson Lee staged town hall meetings.

Everything that the protesters have been accused of are things that the Democrats themselves have done. Including violence committed by SEIU members and ACORN, to govt paid fake supporters for this lame bill. Go to jobsthatmatter.org to find that out.. As far as MSM is concerned, this is the same media that brought you the Iraq war via WMDs and 936 lies, right real credibility. Counterpunch is a left wing hack group funded by the same Sorros foundation who funds Huffington post and Daily Kos. All these publications support Isreal's tyranical govt. So yeah right, look who you are giving out as sources.

I have watched over 2 dozen videos of protests on Youtube and some of the protest might have been loud but none of the violence I have seen has come from the protesters. Many are confronting Reps on sections in this bill. As far as your so called  "ad hominem " attacks are concerned or just more of your political correctness garbage, I have attacked you actions, but apparently the truth hurts and you cant seem to face it.  I asked you the questions of what are your solutions and what do you stand for and I have yet to receive an answer. All you have done is bash NI4D and tried to derail it. Then you use Mike Gravel quotes to justify your two faced actions.

I will repeat what I have said before that it is time for us to come together and take action as those are right now. Change is something we have to work for and will not come easy.

"The tree of liberty sometimes has to be nourished with the blood of patriots"  More or less that is pretty much to quote or sentiment of Thomas Jefferson. Time to grow up jfl and quit whining!

Well it's a big world and it takes all kinds...

Well it's a big world and it takes all kinds... as far as I'm concerned you're welcome to your opinions and welcome to post them here or anywhere else.

It takes all kinds alright

Now we know what kind you are. You are judged by the fruits on your tree and your fruits are pretty rotton. You are using Mike Gravel quotes to justify your two faced behavior. Again Mike is about solutions to problems. Where are yours? A real revolution is brewing, not a stagged one like your friends at MSNBC are telling you. Since you like using quotes here is one for you.

If you stand for nothing you will fall for anything! Just what exactly do you stand for, jfl?

the beginning of rule by pluralities

Who's behind the attacks on a health care overhaul?

Much of the money and strategy behind the so-called grassroots groups organizing opposition to the Democrats' health care plans comes from conservative political consultants, professional organizers and millionaires, some of whom hold financial stakes in the outcome.

The True Story of Fox's Hero, Kenneth Gladney

Did you hear about the town hall meeting in St. Louis where union thugs attacked a black conservative and sent him to the hospital with multiple injuries? Well, it didn’t happen exactly like that. In fact, events were the opposite of what talk show hosts Rush Limbaugh and Bill O’Reilly broadcast and what corporate media carried across the US.

I don't know many libertarians but one I do know is certainly an outstanding individual, her nutty ideas about economics and "statism" notwithstanding.  I'm one of those guys who would have voted for the baby doctor from TX... what's his name... not Spock... Ron Paul! Because I believed he woud have ended the aggresive wars abroad which are our number one crime and financial disaster wrapped into one. And that we'd have to put up with whatever nutty economic ideas he had as the price we had to pay for that.

The NI4d as put forward for implemention, however, would not be better than what we have now. It would be the beginning of rule by pluralities paid for, just as the "spontaneous" uprisings at town-hall meetings we are speaking of here, by right-wing, or left-wing, millionaires, ALL of whom held financial stakes in the outcome.

That's my opinion of course.

Times have changed. We are going to empower the American people. Let’s work together. I am tough. I’m not afraid. None of this politics as usual. -- Mike Gravel

You are a phony

You have just outed yourself as being a fraud and a left wing hack who wants to derail any kind of progress that could be made. You post on this board using Mike Gravel quotes, but then will trash his amendment. Again what in the hell have you done to try to promote any kind of unity or solutions to our problems. All you have done is complain and whine and nick pick at others who come up with solutions. I also suspect that you are probably one of these kool aid drinkers who voted for Obama chanting "Yes We Can".

As far as Ken Gladney is concerned. Its not about what Rush or Bill said, its about what Ken and his lawyer said in their own words. Both of whom were at the town hall  meeting and Ken who was assulted. Plus the video that is out on YouTube shows Ken being attacked and it also shows one of the Union Member being arrested and put in handcuffs because he had been identified by several bystanders who were at the event. Plus you can see at least 2 of those folks in the video yelling at the attacker of Ken Gladney.

So again my purpose was to inspire people to start taking action and all you have done is try to detract with your phony left right nonsense and your whining and nick picking. jfl, I suggest you quit coming on here to post, because it is clear that you dont support Mike Gravel and his efforts, you have no solutions for anything, and you are a bit self righteous and sanctamonious with your attitude.

You want to call me names... take a number and get in line

Jfl, I would suggest that you also come up with some solutions and start putting them into action, and quit whining about not how you dont like republicans or conservatives.

I don't like pwogwessives either.

Well we all doin' what we can : http:www/uspvp.org

You want to call me names? Take a number and get in line.

These guys are goons, stooges for the insurance companies who want to continue with no competition and for the pharmaceuticals who want to continue selling drugs to federal government programs with bragaining for pricing by volume made illegal as it is now. It is quite possible that they don't even know they're goons.

I don't know anything about Alex Jones other than the quote I saw of his charging Obama with using "mind control". If he's a libertarian then he's child's play for the Republicrat/Demoblican combine and the real forces, the corporate/plutocrat forces, behind it/.

All they have to do is holler "Statism" and those guys shoot off like $2 pistols.

--

Times have changed. We are going to empower the American people. Let’s work together. I am tough. I’m not afraid. None of this politics as usual. -- Mike Gravel

Don't let Alex Jones' Mind-Control work on you

These are Republicrat goons tryng to kill a government alternative to the "Insurance Industry" lock on health care insurance.

If these guys are revolutionaries then we're headed for a facist revolution.

Where were they when Obama escalated the war in Afghanistan, opened the war in Pakistan, stood mum on Israeli genocide in Gaza, or voted for the TARP scam... and then enlarged it?

They got the call to bring their ax-handles and hurt some people, if only rhetorically so far, from the Republicrat goons of the Insurance Industry and here they are. Protecting us from Euthanasia. Right.

The revolution we need is a lot quieter and methodical and thoughtful than this fascist circus.

--

Times have changed. We are going to empower the American people. Let’s work together. I am tough. I’m not afraid. None of this politics as usual. -- Mike Gravel

Grow uo!

If you think telling you to stop whining and lose the attitude is name calling, then you have serious mental problems. You on the other hand have resorted to calling protesters as goons and thugs with absolutely no proof what so ever to back up your claims.

The point again is to come together and take action and stop all of the in-fighting.and pettiness. Your polarizing attitude isnt helping NI4D. Plus I have seen post on here of you critizing NI4D and putting down. Nothing is perfect, but it is a big improvement over what we have now. So again, quit whining!

Its time for us to come together.

Dont let the phony left right paradigm sucker you.

My intent is not to turn this into a back and forth exchange. But first of all this is not about Alex Jones or any one person. Second of all it sounds like you have let main stream media and so called progressive media con you into believing that these events were staged. The event in St. Louis at Rep Russ Carnahan's Town Hall got out of hand by 2 of the SEIU members assaulting  a man for exercising his first amendment right by assembling peacefully, which he was. To top it off this man had the "N" word yelled at him repeatedly by that union member asking him "why is an N like you against Obama?"

Also I would suggest to you that you read HR 3200 because it is horrific. The original tea parties formed by 9-11 truth movement and "We are charge" have been protesting for several years now. Including the fact that they were protesting the federal reserve last fall when the banker bailout bill passed. Which was a criminal take over. I would ask you, where were the so called progessives last fall when this was happening. They were too busy with their Obama worship and chanting "Yes we can"

People on both sides of the ailes are starting to wake up. Both republican and democratic representatives at these town hall meetings were being confronted over this fraudulant health care bill. The point of my post is to bring people together and to call for action, not to get into petty in fighting because you dont like someones political ideology.

Lately things have been dormant  when it comes to bringing NI4D into light as a solution to our problems. My point is to inspire more people into getting involved to make this a reality. I suggested the radio shows, because I do an internet show to raise the issue every chance I get. Mike Gravel can't make this happen alone nor is he going to live forever. We all have to carry this issue forward. Love Alex or hate him, he is good at uniting people together for standing up for their rights.

Jfl, I would suggest that you also come up with some solutions and start putting them into action, and quit whining about not how you dont like republicans or conservatives. The issue is liberty vs tyranny, not republcans vs democrats.  The problem with so called liberals and progressives is that they always want easy and quick fixes that solve nothing. They are always screaming about change and being pragmatist, but then don't support people or canidates that would help their causes. They support phony change agents like Obama. Look at how the progressive community ignored Mike and his empowering message when it didnt look like he would be the nominee. They throw him under the bus and made fun of him and also help to silence his voice.

I would also like to remind you sir, that Alex Jones invited Mike to come on his show to discuss how he had called Hilary out for her vote on the Iran Resolution after MSM and the so called democrats cut him out of the debates. Alex helped to give Mike a voice to be heard with, when the so called progressive media was ignoring him. So you might want to remember that before you critize Alex Jones.

On thing you can say about the Ron Paul crowd is that they are consistant and stand up for they values and dont allow media to dictate to them about who they should support. So again, jfl the issue is about coming together and moving forth with putting NI4D into the spotlight again and making it a reality. Not about whether or not you like Alex Jones or republicans. The video clips are meant to inspire people to take action and excercise their rights. So lose the attitude!
